LIL Miss Kaylee

Kaylee is saying so much now, I can't even count how many words she knows anymore nor can I remember all of them! We point something out to her and she will say what it is.....like tree,flower,bird,duck,truck......and so on! She loves fire trucks and just gets so excited when she hears them or they come past the house. She also like motorcycles and calls them bikes! hahah The other day she put two words together for the first time and said Bye NANA! It was so cute! She is also finally calling my mom MAMAW! She throws lil tatrums all the time now and is really becoming a toddler! She just cracks us up! I have to admit there are times when I want to pull my hair out because she is being so rotten but then I just look at her and she'll smile............the pull my hair out feeling goes away! hahaha She will answer us with "no" at every question we ask her.....its very cute right now but we know soon it will be a different story! haha She is now getting up very early like around 6:30am but I just put her in bed with me and we snuggle for a bit and then she is ready to play! She takes long am naps though. She jabbers all the time, we are not sure what she is saying but its sure cute! She is eating much better and still loves about any fruit! She'll be 20months old in a couple weeks and I'm just not sure where the time is going! In just a few months we'll be planning her 2nd birthday...WOW! What a complete and wonderful 20 months it has been! We are so blessed to have Kaylee and love her beyond anything in this world! She lights up our life like we never knew could happen!

Sweet Kaylee

Yesterday(Fri) morning was so awesome! Kaylee woke up about 2:30 screaming! So we let her CIO a lil bit and she fell back asleep but she continued to cry, sleep, cry, sleep so I went in to check on her, you know make sure she was dry and ok! Well I decided to get her and bring her to our room......normally it doesn't work and she would just play or continue being mad! But this time she fell asleep after talking with me for a bit! OMG it was so wonderful to have her in bed! Her and I sleep in bed together from 4am to 9am! LOL Then she woke up just smiling and she was in just a great mood! So for such a long story!
Kaylee has also been saying and pointing our her/our eyes,nose,mouth and ears! Its so cute! She also knows her and my boobies! LOL Yesterday(Fri)she also started say DIDI(for diaper) She dances all the time to everything and has some good moves! LOL She just wiggles those hips and butt! I have to say I loved her being an infant but this toddler stage is the best so far! She is so fun to be around and just makes us laugh all day! She has her trying times and likes to test us but thats even funny most of the time! Her new thing as for attitude is If she doesn't get what she wants she screams at me, stomps her feet and throws what ever is close! OMG my daughter is just wild! Can we say "TERRIBLE 1 1/2" and not to 2 yet! :)

Another Great Mommy's Day

I've had a great day! I was with my sweetie all day and got to go shopping with my mommy and brother. We all had a nice time hanging out together at the mall and Kaylee loved playing and drinking her smoothie!
Thank you my sweetie for being my daughter......Mommy loves you so much and LOVES and CHERISHES being you mommy! Thank you to my husband for my tanning package and card and loving me!

Attempted Potty Training

Ok so we tried potty training this past Mon. hahaha At 8am I put Kaylee in some cute lil panties her and her mamaw picked out! I think we went through 25+ pairs of panties until I gave up! I gave up only because we just don't feel after that day that Kaylee is ready for potty training! She looked aweful cute in her panties but just wasn't interested in the potty and in fact would cry when I ask her to sit on it! I ask her every 5 min or so if she needed to go potty and we go to the potty! She'd sit on it sometimes and other would not! She did tinkle and poopy a little but thats only because I caught her in the act. Other than that she'd get off the potty and just go pee in the other room right after! At 4:30 I decided to put a diaper back on her. Yes maybe I should have gave it more time but I just don't want to make it a bad experiance for her and I want her to be ready! She just is not at this time which is totally fine! We'll keep introducing her to the potty and here in a few more months try again! Here are a few pic from the day! Another Zoo trip

We went to the Indianapolis Zoo for the second time, first this year! Kaylee was only like 9-10 months the last trip and wasn't into it a lot but this time was SO FUN! She loved the OCEANS area! She got to pet a dog shark and LOVED watching the penguin's swim! They were her favorite animal! She enjoyed the petting zoo also. She really just like watching all the animals! It was a beautiful day and not busy at all! Kaylee got to walk almost the entire 3hr we were there which she and we loved! Its still so special going places with her and I think it will always be! Another toy!

Here is Kaylee's new sandbox! Well not completly new, we got it off craislist! Gotta love that site! Her favorite thing to do is throw the sand OUTSIDE of the sandbox! Our new challage with her! We also bought her a potty chair! We are just introducing it to her right now and so far she knows that it is a potty now its just teaching her what potty is! She very smart and catching on to things quite quick so I don't think we'll have a problem! The problem will be how strong willed she is....will she want to go potty or not! hahahaha
