Our Colorado Vacation

Hello everyone! We had just a wonderful time! Its just so beautiful our there. Well first off Kaylee's first flight went really good! On the way there she was awake for almost all the flight and just ate some snacks, played a bit and jason walked her a little to keep her entertained! The plane was full of kids so you'd never know who's was having a fit if one did! HA HA HA Worked out great! On the way home kaylee had a lil fit right at first only cause she was tired. We all had to get up at 4am to get to the airport for our flight at 7am. Anyway once she found a comfortable position on daddy she fell asleep and was out until landing! Both flights ran ahead of time which was great and the flights were quite smooth! We did run into problems getting through security with a few things we accidentally packed on our carry on but nothing major! HA HA HA
So we got there a Mari arrived just in time to get us and off we went to the cabin! We got to the cabin after a drive straight up a mountain and a dirt road! Very interesting and beautiful drive! The town of Gold Hill(where our cabin was) is a very old town and looks like something off "Little House on the Prairie"! Thankfully we didn't have to use the out house though we had all we needed! It was quite neat! It was so quiet and the view was gorgeous! Kaylee slept great! Mommy and Daddy was a different story though, we were both on Indiana time which was 2hrs ahead of Colorado, so we'd be up before the rooster! HA HA HA!
We saw about everything we wanted to as for wildlife! Elk, mule deer, a bull moose, prairie dogs, mountain goat, big horn sheep and some smaller things! We went to Mt.Evans, Pikes Peak, Estes Park, Rocky Mountain National Park and Garden of the Gods(which is awesome red rock that just shoots out of the ground) We were in the car a lot also going to all these places and seeing things that Kaylee got irritable! She would scream bloody murder! HA HA We even had a bull elk that we were viewing get ready to charge our car do to Kaylee's screaming! HA HA That was quite a scene! Guess he was frustrated too! HA HA HA Well we had a great time and got to visit family which is always great! Thanks to Mari, Don and Ruth for your kindness and it was great seeing you all! The cabin was great and we can't thank you enough for letting us stay in it. Ruth thank you so much for letting us borrow your car during our stay, you all went out of your way for us and it was greatly appreciated. Hope everyone enjoyed reading about our vacation and our pictures! I'll get as many as I can on here but will send a more out via email.

HAPPY 11 MONTHS

Well just one more month and our little girl is one! Little bit of mixed feeling there! She is learning so much and doing wonderful. She is 20lbs and 28in now! She is of course crawling like lighting, pulling up on EVERYTHING now and even getting so balance to stand on her own for a few seconds! She has also become a lil cruiser and will now walk with us when we hold her hands She is saying MAMA and just this past week in Colorado started saying DADA and DADDY both! She says HU all the time, as if she doesn't hear us! ha ha ha! She is quite the fit thrower now and is throwing and hitting, not good! So we now are in the correction stage! She can make you feel quite bad when you tell her NO and sometimes just smiles at us~ She is a lil stinker! She is eating several different table foods now, one of her favorites is spagetti and she loves subways wheat bread. We will give her a little of almost anything we are eating for dinner and she does great! She is still not too into the sippy cup, darn it! I tried yesterday to give her formula in the sippy to start the bottle weaning but it didn't go well. First she drank it up for about an oz and then it was throwing it, letting it drip from her mouth and now she won't take her bottle or cup at all! Now sure what to do now! Update: She took her noon bottle so I think we are back on track~ HA HA HA
