kaylee's pucker!

Kaylee has her puckering down perfect! Look at that cute little lip! She knows how to get what she wants already!

Tuesday Kaylee did her first real good laugh for Mommy. She has been giggling for a few weeks now but this was a laugh! It was soooo sweet and cute! She is growing so much and doing so many new things each day.

Alright, after coming home Kaylee showed her stuff. She didn't sleep for weeks and would scream for hours. She was the perfect baby in the NICU. HA HA HA The first month of being parents was challenging, Kaylee was very colicky. Poor girl would only sleep on our chest at night for the first 4wks she was home and then only for a hour or so at a time. She even wore her Grandma Paro down which is a night owl. HA HA HA As time passed we thought she might have acid reflux so we went back to her pedi and he said it was possible. Finally at 2months and 1 week old we gave her the acid reflux medication....she slept 6hrs straight for the first time. Ok she sleeps in her swing but whatever works. HA HA HA Since the middle of Dec. she has been a happy baby! The acid reflux was making her miserable and we didn't know it. But all is great now. She is smiling all the time now and making more sounds each day. Its so wonderful watching her grow each day. I'm very lucky because I get to be a stay at home mommy and see everything she does. Jason loves changing her, feeding her......all of it. She has completly melted Daddy's heart.

Kaylee's Debut!!

Hello everyone, I hope you like our page so far. I'm new at this so it may be a little wierd at first. Here is a little background info on Kaylee.
We are looking forward to sharing some of our moments as parents with everyone. Kaylee has been just a dream come true for us! Born Oct. 3, 2006 at 12:19am to the happiest Mommy & Daddy in the world. She was 5lbs10oz & 18.5in at birth. She is now 3 1/2 months old, 13lbs/221/4in and doing wonderful. Life started out a bit rough for her as she was born 5wks early at 35wks. I went into preterm labor at 33wks and was hospitlized for 12days before she was born. With the help of medication to stop contractions and very strict bedrest we were able to hold of delivery until she was a little more ready. Even though she was ready she was born with phenmonia. Only a 1% chance that would happen! Kaylee was in the NICU for 9days prior to being able to come home. She was on a ventilator, cpap, canula and finally just on her own breathing. She did very well and made lots of progress each day and got to come home on Oct.12,2006.
