A few SWEET pics

A little update on our lives

Ok, we are all feeling 100% better. We've been spending pretty much all of our time outside since the weather has been just awesome! Kaylee loves for us to prop the back door open so she can come in and out, she just explores everything outside and loves it! And our yard is fenced in with a lock and an alarm if the gate opens......shes safe! I"m so glad she is an outdoors toddler and she is becoming our lil tom girl, she likes to get pretty and dirty! hahahah Just like mommy was!

I have started an excerise program with my girlfriend Amy and we are going to lose this weight and be tone in 90 days! hahaha It feels so good to workout, it maybe hard but I do enjoy it.....lol we'll see what I say in a few more weeks! :)

On the adoption front......we are now finally on the waiting list. We had a bit of a delay after our homestudy but it got worked out and we are just waiting and praying for a call! I just can't wait for another baby!

I think that covers it all!

Another Seizure #3

Kaylee started getting sick yesterday and the inevitable happen again!
She started out with puking at aunt CeCa's house, with a fever. CeCa gave her tylenol, changed her into this really cute t-shirt until we got back. Then came the diarrha, I mean our poor baby had it bad. So we got some popcicles and pedialyt and home we went. Her temp was not breaking really so we gave her motrin which she puked up within minutes then fall asleep. We decided to move her bed in our room because we had a feeling she was going to seiz again due to her temp already being at 102! So we all fall asleep and at 1:15am we awake to hearing Kaylee seizing, I knew right away that that was the sound.......her grunting! Jason calls 911 and I sit down with her and just talk to her(And then I start freaking puking). This is the 3rd one and its still so very hard to watch such a lil body do this. Again she trembles, stops breathing, lips and face start turning blue and she foams at the mouth. After a couple minutes it stops and she is just out of it for a bit, we continue talking to her and finally she says something and starts acting a better.
The EMT's said it was up to us if we wanted her taken to the hossy and we chose not to. She is doing better today(Sat) and we are all starting to feel better!
I just pray to god this doesn't happen again, it just beyond scary to see your precious lil girl's body do this and be so helpless.

Go Fly a Kite

Sat was sooooo windy but still very nice out so we got a kite. Kaylee saw people flying them at the park and wanted one so of course we got one! She like it and did really good at holding it and running around keeping it up....not that she needed to since it was like 50mph winds out there! hahaha Of course being at the park Kaylee got more interested in playing rather than flying a kite.......but daddy and I loved it! We had a great time!

The things 2yr olds say!

Kaylee is just beyond funny! I don't know where she learns the words she does and even more how to use them in the proper context! Here are some very funny examples

1. Mommy - Kaylee put your glasses on or no tv
Kaylee - "just stares at me"
Mommy - ok I'm turning the tv off since you won't ware you glasses
Kaylee - "WHATEVER"
Mommy - what did you say
Kaylee - WHATEVER
Mommy - DYING LAUGHING and turning the tv off still!

2. Mommy - Kaylee please put your glasses back on, if you put them on we can go to the park.
Kaylee - O ta.....(she's trying)
She's having trouble getting them around her ear...
Kaylee - this is ridiculous(cause she can't do it)
Mommy - again DYING laughing and asking her several times to repeat herself!

There is much more and as I remember I will edit my post!

A New Challege

So the time came that I hoped wouldn't........Kaylee was prescibed glasses last week. I had been noticing her right eye coming in over the past few weeks. Didn't think alot about it at first but then it started getting worse. Then 2 times in one week two others noticed the samething and we knew it was time for the doc. We took her in to have her eyes checked right away. She did wonderful and was such a SUPER trooper for the doc. The doc dialated her eyes to get a good look at what was going on. After just a few minutes she said Kaylee was pretty far sided and wrote our a script for glassed. We picked out some cute lil pink ones with hearts on the side. Her glasses came in on thurs and we have only gotten her to wear them for a few seconds at a time.....she says she can't see out of them. :( She also has already bent the frames.....lol! I know we should have gotten flexible frames but they had two pairs to chose from and they were icky looking! Hers are still wearable just need adjusted.

So what do I think of this? I think it sucks and daddy pretty much thinks the same! Yes I know its what she needs and I totally understand that but it still SUCKS! I have no clue how in the world we are going to get her to wear these glasses. But you know if farsidedness is the only thing we have to deal with then we are pretty LUCKY! I do know so many others have a lot more to deal with!!

Here are some pic of lil Kaylee!
