ARE YA READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL

Yep its that time again! And Kaylee is ready with her cute lil pink jersey! HINT HINT the will be more Colts appearal after her birthday! hehehe

Kaylee is just the sweetest lil miracle! She is growing so much and she is so smart! Sometimes we think she is too smart! HAHAHA She is talking all the time and can say more things than we can even keep up with now! Yesterday she told daddy "lets sit down"! So cute! She loves to help me out by throwing her diaper away however she thinks she has to throw everything away! She also likes to help with laundry,dishes and putting her plate/bowl in the sink! You wouldn't believe what we find in the trash now! Silly girl! :) I can't believe its been almost two years, it just brings tears to my eyes.......our baby is growing up! I only wish I could keep her right where she is right now for a couple of years! Gosh how I love her so very much! I tell you the best sound in the world is hearing "mommy, mommy, mommy" She is precious! But she's a bit rotten too! hahaha!
I'm also very sad to say that I am looking for a job! The babysitting is just not bringing in enough and I'm losing Colten(I'll miss him so much) There are just so many of mommy's that are doing to same as I so babysitting is very competitive! haha But I'm looking at trying to start just part time for now and working up to full time and my mom will be with Kaylee for now. UGH the job market is about as bad as the babysitting market though! So we'll see how it goes!

Brother/ Sister for Kaylee

We are adopting! We want so bad for Kaylee to have a brother or sister and to experiance parenthood again that we've chose ADOPTION! We've tried unsuccessfully at having a surrogate and its time to move on! We have turned in our application to St.Elizabeth-Coleman agency and are just waiting for approval. We are beyond happy with this decision and soooo pray we get chosen quickly! The average wait is 15months but hopefully a birthmom will love us sooner! We just can't wait to have another baby in the house again and Kaylee can't wait to help take care of her brother or sister!

Trip to the Dentist!!

Kaylee had her first dentist appt this past week! She has all her teeth other than her two year molars so it was time for her first cleaning! Even though we've been brushing her teeth/gums since she was gosh 5months I think she is not fond of it but getting better. Anyway, the appt started off very well and Kaylee loved sitting in the dentist chair and being shown all the equipment! Then she got to brush the bears teeth which she liked! Then came to time for her.........and she cried! :( She was upset about it but didn't throw a huge fit as I thought she would! The dentist said this girl has a very strong bit and jaw muscles! LOL So she got a cleaning,flossing and a little floride brush on her teeth. Here are some pics!

Our Weekend Getaway

We decided just on a whim to take off for the weekend and St.Louis was our destination. The zoo is free other than parking so it was a cheap lil getaway. Kaylee was not fond of the car ride but was wonderful at the hotel and the zoo. She slept better in the hotel than at home! She walked pretty much the entire 7hrs we were at the zoo and just LOVED all the animals! She LOVED the chimps the most and just watched them forever. She'd say hi chimps or monkey....lol! We saw the arch too but wasn't all that impressed, we are more animal/nature people..hehehe! We had a great time.
