BLUE BLUE BLUE!

Kaylee knows her first color........BLUE! Its so cute! In the morning I'll turn on the lil einsteins dvd(her favorite) and the screen is blue at first. So yesterday morning I was getting it going and she just yells out BLUE BLUE......of course I said OOOOOO what color is it and she just smiled and wouldn't say anything! So this morning she did the same thing so I KNOW she knows the color blue rather she'll tell me or not! hahaha! She's so cute!

1st bloody toe

Look at the sweet lil toe! Yep Kaylee got her first skinned up toe a couple weeks ago while riding her car. She was a trooper though as always! Mommy carried her home,cleaned her toe and put a Dora bandage on it! Of course the bandage come off within seconds cause she didn't like the feel of it! lol

Kick off to the State Fair

Wed we took Kaylee to the kick off of the state fair......the hot air balloon race! WOW it was neat! We had to get up at the crack of dawn though......5am! Kaylee got up at 5:45 and we took off for a day of fun! There were about 28 balloon or so! Kaylee loved watching them air up and then take off! However the funniest part was everytime she'd see a helicopter or plane thats the ONLY thing she would focus on........she loves them. After we watched the balloons take off we headed inside to the fair! We spent about 5hrs looking at everything and walking around! Kaylee loved the fish,moos(cows)and goats! It was so nice getting there so early because we were able to let Kaylee walk around with worry about losing her! So another fun time, O I wish summer didn't have to end!

Bounce Zone+FUN

We took Kaylee to the Bounce Zone Wed and all had a blast! Its a really neat place! Kaylee is still a bit small to play in the big kid area so we just stayed in the toddler room.

Playdate

We had another playdate yesterday with some lil cuties! My friend Amy came over with her twins Asher and Lilly which are 18mon old! So it was Kaylee, Colten(which I babysit)and the twins! We ALL had so much fun! We but the kids in wagons and walked over to the 4h fair so they could see the animals! Kaylee and Colten seemed to love the goats and Lilly and Asher loved the cows! hahaha Then we came back to the house and they all swam for a bit. Its so fun to watch all the kids play and interact! I love getting together with Amy also. Colten was our lil dare devil as he would just fly down the slide into the water, Kaylee did a few time and liked it, Lilly loved going the slide also and even went down ALL by herself and Asher was our lil cheerer! HAHA He found it just as fun to just clap and say YAYYYYY for everyone! Here are a few pics from the day!

Kaylee loved the fireworks! We had a wonderful day/evening! We had a small cookout at Mamaws,went to watch/dance to the live band(endless summer, we love them)and then watched the fireworks around 10:15pm! Kaylee was pooped by the end of the night and even fell asleep in NANA's arms while dancing! LOL We had to wake her up for the fireworks!

EEG

Kaylee had her EEG this morning to check for epilepsy. The pedi is pretty sure that the febrile seizure have nothing to do with it but since she has had 2 and Jason father has epilepsy he did the test as a precaution.
So we went to the Peyton Manning Childrens Hospital at St Vincents.(thats where Kaylee was born also) Kaylee had to stay up late and get up early so she'd be sleepy for the EEG. So she went to bed at 11pm and got up at 4:30am! We got to the hossy at 6:45am she was checked in and was back within 20min....very fast! It took about 20min to hook all the connection up to her head and then the EEG was half hour! She slept in stage two sleep for about 15min(which is want they want) and then had to be awake for 15min after sleeping.(its not easy getting a sleepy toddler awake!) Minus her really not liking getting all the connection glued to her she did very well. We are very proud of her! The best part was there was NO sedation. They wrapped her in a blanket(neck down) and just held her while getting her ready and then I got to hold her during the test. She just slept in my arms.......it was wonderful to be able to be part of it and her not be alone. We should have the results next week at her follow up appt with Dr. Ambre.

Edited - just wanted to add the doc called(he actually called himself) Mon morning and said Kaylee was fine......NOOOOOO Epilepsy! WOOHOO! She is just having febrile seizures as he thought! I LOVE Kaylee pedi, he is so great. We just have to catch her fevers before they rise! Which means even a small fever HAS to be treated since 1. you never know how high it might get and 2.Her fevers rise very quickly which is what triggers the seizure.
