Today was a great day!
We had dinner at Dave and Lisa's and lots of chat time!
Kaylee had a good time eating lots of sugar and playing! She of course was cutier than ever. All day she'd say "Happy Thanksgiving" I love you...too sweet!

Wonderful day and so much to be thankful for....Our sweet girl and soon to be baby boy!

Halloween 2011 was a blast!

Kaylee was a cute little witch again....she saw her costume from last year and like it so that was easy! First we carved her pumpkin, we forgot all weekend to do it! Then off to Nana and Papa's, D's house and our old neighborhood, Papa's house and his neighborhood and ended back at home for our nieghborhood for a a bit! Kaylee was so cute and polite....and has more candy than I know what we are going to do with!

She told us "I LOVE trick or treating...its my favorite" and christmas! hahaha

Headless Horseman 2011 - another fun year! We went on the 15th this year with Missy and her family again! We had some yummies and did some fun crafts...Kaylee loves doing the crafts! Then off to the hayride.....however this year we didn't do the headless horseman part! We had a afterdark ticket and our poor lil sweetie was so scared! We waited in line for a few but once she started crying from being scared we decided to leave....just not the memory we want her to have of all of it! So maybe next year will be better!

ZooBoo 2011 - another weekend..another great evening! ZOO fun with trick or treating!
The lions were roaring, tigers pacing right in front of us, bear playing with its treat and cheeta's a moving like crazy....O LOVE zooboo time and seeing the animals after normal hours! Of course Kaylee was much more interested in the candy she was getting at each table! hahaha She was the cutiest witch ever again!

I didn't get pics this year of either but the memories were the best! Next year I'll make up with extra pictures! hahaha

Pumpkin Patch Fun 2011

For Kaylee's birthday Day we headed to the Stoney Creek Farms! We love going there this time of year and she always has a blast....she picked our her pumpkin, she and daddy has a BLAST in the hay stack and bounce pad! We petted the cute animals and just had a really fun day!

It truely is just amazing being a parent and so much fun!

Can you believe its been 5yrs....5yrs since our lives were so blessed with our precious sweet Kaylee Lynn! Today we celebrate the day our lives were finally complete and changed forever by a sweet baby girl!

WOW where did the years go, not sure! I do know its been the most wonderful, fulfilling and exciting years of our lives! From watching my belly grow, seeing her be born, first crawls, words, steps, to just a couple weeks ago watching her write her name.....its been an adventure and complete gift! Every day is new, fun and so very sweet! Being a parent is the so wonderful beyond words!

Yesterday we celebrated 5 wonderful years Growing up with Kaylee! We had her party at Chucky Cheese and she had the BEST time! Family and Friends celebrated with us...it really was a great time!

Lastnight Kaylee showed her big sister helping power....she helped daddy put the crib together! She was so cute helping and screwing the pieces in.
She is such a cutie anyway...she talks to my belly and sometimes jiggles it to try and wake him. She has yet to feel him move but trys to feel...takes some patience to feel him in the right spot! I just can't wait to see her hold him and talk to him....its going to be such a wonderful moment!

Thank you little cutie pie for helping prepare for your little brother....you are such a special, sweet and wonderful baby girl!

Kaylee wrote her name out for the first time today....its so cute!
She has been practicing at school, knows her letters and how to spell her name but she finally wrote the letters in the right order....we are so proud of her...I can't believe our little girl can write her name!

First Day at PreK

Yesterday was Kaylee's first day of PreK....school is back in session! 2011-2012 school year got off to a wonderful start! She and I went to open house last Friday and she was a little hesitant about a new class room, friends and teachers! However a couple of boys from her class last year are with her so she felt better!
On her first day she was excited that's ALL...not scared or nervous! She did want to see daddy before school though! So we got all ready, looking really cute of course and off to daddy's work for a quick kiss and some love!
Got to school, she went up to her room (the Arctic), I got a quick hug and kiss and in the class she went! She walk right in, Jack met her for a hug hello and she just smiled..she was HAPPY! She set down next to her teacher and started coloring! I got a quick glance from her as I was taking a couple pics, blew her a kiss and waved bye...she blew one back and waved....and mommy walked away proud but with a few tears! Our baby girl is growing up, in just a short one month she'll be 5!

As I tear up because she didn't need my comfort on her first day of school as she always had...I realize its not that she didn't need mommy...she's just a confident, happy and excited little girl ready to have fun with her friends and a little break from mommy! We've done well as parents these almost 5yrs...she's a WONDERFUL little girl!

Our Little Fish

Yep Kaylee is just a water bug this year! She LOVES to swim and would stay in the water all day if we'd let her! While in Florida she found that water wings were the best thing ever, of course it took seeing the other kids having fun ALL over the pool with them to confidence her! hahaha I mean what does mommy and daddy know! haha
Daddy put up the bigger pool and they have just had a blast in it! With daddy's help she has learned confidence in the pool and branched out to doggie paddling, no water wings and she loves to swim underneath to get toys that sink! I'm so glad we didn't pay for swim lessons..she's learned just perfectly with us!
Aunt Ceca has a pool in her apartment complex as well and that's been great! Its not busy and has different depths...that's great for Kaylee! Kaylee learned after a couple times that jumping from the 5ft area and doggie paddling back was a blast...and that's with NO help or floating devices! WOOHOO Our big girl! Now that the temps have starting dropping( pool water turned COLD) and the pools are getting ready to close for the year, Miss Kaylee has become bored....she misses being water logged! hahaha We are hoping for a few warmer days again soon because I really want to get her on video swimming around and under the water....its so neat and funny to watch!

Kaylee went with me to my u/s this past Mon and she like it! She went with us a couple weeks ago as well but it was hard to see the baby still! This u/s was awesome and we could really see the profile and everything of the baby! She was very tuned in to the screen and even said she thinks its a girl! hahaha So cute and sweet! Florida 2011

Finally our vacation! We just got back from Florida and had so much fun again!
Kaylee loved the flight although the home flight was rough on our ears!
Our flight to Orlando was a later one with a layer over so we didn't get there until around 8ish I think...it felt like forever! So we got our car and off to find something to eat...McD's was perfect! hahaha From there we headed to our hotel, very nice resort(wyndham resort Orlando) and awesome room! Off to bed we went or tried to sleep for our day at SeaWorld next! However none of us slept very well at all....whew rough night = little bit of rough next day!

SeaWorld was fun! Like I said we didn't sleep well and it was SOOOO HOT...Kaylee and I were just shell shocked by the heat so it was a bit rough on us...Jason did great! HAHA We saw the Shamu show and it was really neat! Those whales are huge! Kaylee liked it for a bit but then was over sitting and ready to move on! But we made it though the entire show! LOL Then off to feed the seals, very cool and Kaylee of course loved that! We saw all the other animals, walked around and ended our day feeding the dolphins and stingrays! What a great experiance! Kaylee LOVED LOVED LOVED the dolphins and especially the stingrays! She could have spent all day at the stingrays, feeding and touching them!

2010/2011 Preschool

Today was Kaylee's last day of Preschool and in the 3's class! What a wonderful fun year it has been for her and us! Watching her shine in school and grow so much was so special and neat! Socially Kaylee has grown leaps and bounds through preschool, she's always been a smart lil gal but she's grown educationally so much as well! Her friends in school this year really turned into friends, they enjoy each other and always hug at the end of the day...so cute! She was invited to her first girly birthday party from her friend Elise, let me tell ya how cute that was. Her teachers Miss Megan and Miss Andi were and are amazing, caring teachers....I pray she has more teachers like them! They always had a hug for the kids and comforted any of them of days they miss their mommy's a little more....so special to us and Kaylee. It was a bittersweet but special day! We are so proud of our little girl and so blessed she's ours!

Our wonderful little girl will enter PreK this fall...she's growing to fast but so wonderfully!

O this girl is just funny these days!

So I think it was last week we were all getting in the car, daddy and I had been talking and of course cutie was listening! As Jason is fastening her in she tells him

"hahaha hahaha hahaha Daddy you are screwed" in a funny sassy way! We were shocked and giggled. We told her right away not to say that, she thought she was in trouble and started crying. Of course she wasn't so we calmed her down and just explain it wasn't real nice for a lil girl to say! Thats what happen when mommy and daddy say things!

Then in the tub the other day she said "crap" for some reason...

As we were talking about babies a couple days ago, we showed her pics of what a baby looks like in the tummy...she said "thats not a baby that looks like a jellyfish" hahaha Love her view of things!

Kaylee's going to be BIG SISTER-I'm Pregnant

After years of wanting another baby and thinking I could never get pregnant again.......I'M PREGNANT! And what a BIG SURPRISE it is for us! I went in for gallbladder surgery but instead found out we're having a baby! We found out today that everything looks good and safe for the pregnancy! I will be taken care of by Dr Sumners whom is a high risk doctor.....the same doc that delivered Kaylee! We are so excited and happy....Kaylee is going to be an awesome big sister!

Poor Kaylee busted her little eye this evening! She was climbing on her bed, went to put her hand on the foot board and her hand slipped. Her eye hit right on the edge of the foot board, right below her eyebrow bone...it was just awful to hear her cry and hurt! Instantly a bump popped up and blood blister, shortly after swelling and it looks more like a cut! Thankfully though its not open so no ER visit or stitches! She now has a little shiner and it just looks pitiful!

Easter 2011

Happy Easter!
We've had a wonderful day! My new tradition is breakfast instead of dinner, so Jason and I cook a yummy Easter morning breakfast for everyone. Some deal as Christmas, breakfast is so much easier, relaxing and we all love it! So it was sausage B&G,scrambles eggs,bacon,sausage,fried taters and cinnamon rolls....delish!

After breakfast we got a break in the rain and headed out to hide eggs, Kaylee and Austin had a blast hunting all the eggs....with lots of candy and even a couple bucks!

Everyone headed off Kaylee played in the mud puddles for a bit, loved it of course and then came in got cleaned up and we ALL took some nice holiday naps!
Got up and headed to Grandma and Grandpa Spurrier's for a yummy Easter dinner! Grandma Cathy did a wonderful job and made some very delish food!

We've had just a spectacular day with family!

Easter Egg Hunt

Yesterday we went to Wild Feather Farm for some easter fun! It was a rainy at first but right before the easter egg hunt kicked off the rain stopped! The hunt was ok, at least the eggs were actually hidden and not just thrown to be pick up! hahaha Kaylee liked it and thats what matters!
It was quiet the interesting time to say the least! hahaha First it was a muddy mess, raining, had no restrooms and cost $5 really for nothing! Poor Kaylee had to potty, they had no restrooms and she really wanted to hunt for eggs! So we hung in there until after the hunt and so did she...sadly the poor baby could take it any longer and pee pee'd when she set in the carseat! I felt so bad for her...she kept telling us its not my fault its the farms! hahaha And she is right!

But even after that, all in all she had fun and was just super cute!

Pretty Eggs for Easter

Mommy....not so great at coloring but they are bright and pretty! hahaha I haven't colored eggs since who knows when! My gal loved it and next year I'll be better prepared a maybe cook more!

Kaylee's first time at T-Ball

Lastnight was Kaylee's first try at T-ball! And to our surprise she jumped right in and off she went! First they introduced each other, then warmed up by running(of course Kaylee loved that!) stretched a bit (not sure she liked that so much! lol) and then started to learn the basics. Learned how to step up and throw, then what the bases where(and she loved that because it envolved running) and finally how to hit off the tee! Very cute fun evening!

It was so wonderful to watch Kaylee just go out and be with the kids, last year she would have just clung to us and never left our side! Amazing how much she's grown and honestly how much preschool has helped her social skills! She had a few times she ran over to us for a hug but she went right back her coaches!

This is only a 4 week course to learn the basics but if she continues to like it and wants to go back we'll sign her up for another course and maybe next year find an actual team for her.

Fun at Brown County

This past weekend we took our first trip to Brown County State Park of the year! We love this park and Kaylee loves that they have pony ride.
We had a nice, fun, relaxing day..walking around the lakes, checking out the frogs(which were everywhere)Kaylee rode her ponies, we shared a big Ol banana split and walk around the shops! And we got some awesome pics of course!

Muncie Children Museum

We had a pretty fun day! It was so cold outside so we had to find something to do inside again! So we drove to Muncie and checked out their child museum! It was neat but small! But a perfect place to let Kaylee run and just have fun without worrying where she's at! She had a blast and we stayed warm!

Tonight we celebrated our neices 3rd birthday....at Chucky Cheese! O my goodness did those girls have a blast together! They danced for tickets, played games, ran wild, played more games and just hung out together! We went bowling last night with some friends and Kaylee LOVED it! We went a few weeks ago as well with a couple of friends and she loved it so we had to go back...this time with camera in hand!
She does really good but likes to literally throw the ball over head...we need to work on that! HAHA

The Icky Sickies

Its been a rough cold season this year! We're not normally sick but maybe once a year and normally just a cold or maybe the flu. This year one of us has been sick since around Thanksgiving. Jason and I have had horrible colds or something at the same time for weeks! Sadly poor Kaylee got it and it was just rough on her! She ran a 103 temp for about 4-5 days before it broke, had horrific cough and ended up getting a chest xray. It showed some viral stuff, so the beginning of pnemonia...but it was caught right away and she got antibotic and was better within the week. Its just horrible to see your baby sick! Mamaw was staying with us and Kaylee just loved loving up to her...Look at the sweet and a little sad pic of them!

Cincinatti Zoo

We love love love this zoo! There is so much to see and the exhibit's are so nice!
So today was partly sunny and 60 degrees in Cincinatti so off we went! And it was the last day of the winter it is half off...can't beat that!
We got to hear the gibbons making all kinds of noises, they were loving the day out as well! Then we watch the gorilla's! The silver back and his 4 year old son were playing and wrestling....it was as funny as can be! The silver back tossed the lil one in a lil pond as they were playing, the lil got mad and then they both pounded on their chest....it was very neat to watch! We got to see the emperior pengins march through the zoo, this was the last march of the season...super cute of course! Kaylee has a blast of course! We spent 5hrs and had a blast! Can't wait to go back this summer maybe

This winter has been brutal! Freezing cold since Oct, snow after snow and then to top it off about 4in of ice from the Ice Storm of 2011! Its been crazy but today began the unthaw and this week is looking very promising for some warmer temps!

So to kick off the unthaw, nice sunny day and a bit of warmer weather....we got the quad out! Jason, Kaylee and Austin had a blast...I took pics which is pretty fun too!
First Jason tied a sled to the quad and took off with Kaylee! She liked it for a few minutes but wasn't fond of the snow flying in her face! So came Austin's turn..he had a blast! I'm bummed I didn't get a chance to get a pic of Kaylee before she got off though! So after several laps on the sled, Jason pulled out the lawn trailor and let me tell ya those kids LOVED it! They rode forever it seemed before getting cold! The pics will tell it all! What an awesome day!

Mommy's Birthday

Yesterday was my 31st birthday...awwww 31 where in the world has my ages gone! hahaha
Of course Jason and Kaylee made it special day for me.....I'm such a lucky girl! To have such a wonderful, sweet, thoughtful and loving husband/daughter just makes ya speechless! I love these two more than I could ever describe!

So Saturday night they came home with some really pretty flowers for me! Jason a pretty bouque and Kaylee a sweet single dark pink rose. However cute Miss Kaylee sort of pick the petals off the rose before getting it home..haha So when I opened it it all fell apart..I was so sad it had!

So Sunday morning came, they came home with birthday bag,balloon,cards,cute little cake and ANOTHER rose from Kaylee! hehe So sweet
The two cards from them were so sweet! Here is what kaylee told daddy to write in the card:
Dear Mom I love you and you do everything for me and take care of my booboo's and you are the greatest mom. I love you mommy, Its you birthday, I love you dear!
Isn't that the sweetest! I just love my girl, she and her daddy just make me a better person....its amazing being a mom! And now I have a beautiful neckless to wear with a mom and child! I love it! My earring are lovey as well!

We cheered on our Indianapolis Colts till the end...sadly the end ended before the Superbowl! Awww well though there is always next year!

What a year 2010 was!

Kaylee has grown so much, turned 4...flourished into a smart, beautiful and as always perfect daughter! Our girl is just amazing and I can't even describe the happiness and completeness she brings to our lives! The smiles,tantrums,sassy mouth, snuggles and love = pure joy

Last Jan we started looking for a new house and literally just drove upon the perfect one for us! Months later we finally sold our first house and closed on our new house! What a wonderful awesome move it was! This house is just great and we LOVE it so much! This will be the house Kaylee grows up in, comes home to and where Jason and I will grow old in!

We were hoping 2010 would be the year for adoption but it wasn't...so here's to hopefully 2011 being the year to bring us another bundle of joy!

Jason and I took our first vacation without our girl and whew was that hard! We fly out to Yellowstone National Park and Kaylee stayed home with Mamaw and Papaw.....for six days and five WHOLE nights! Let me tell ya the tears that were shed missing our girl! However she did great with the grandparents and we did have a wonderful time! Everything we saw and the views out there are just stunning!
Pretty sure this year we are heading to Florida ALL 3 of us!

2011 is going to be a wonderful year I just know it!

Caribbean Cove

What a blast today was! We went to Caribbean Cove which in an indoor waterpark at a hotel! This is the first time we've went and I'm sure its not the last! We all had so much fun. We were there from 11:30a-3:30p left had dinner, went back at 5:30ish and didn't leave until after 7p. Kaylee's favorite part was the hottub, she loved how warm it was! hahaha We took her down a big Ol tube slide and she LOVED it as well! We couldn't believe she liked it so much, we thought for sure she'd be scared and probably even cry......heck no she laughed, screamed and smiled! We did the lazy river, slides, hot tub, swimming pool and the zero enterance play area! It has a slide, big Ol bucket that dumps water every few minutes and tons of other splash stuff! Needless to say we are all poo'd and ready for sleep! What another cool day during christmas break 2010!

WOW what a wonderful Christmas day we had!

The morning started off perfect and Kaylee was beyond cute and had a blast! She woke about 7:30a and the day started!
First she checked out to make sure Santa ate her cookies and had his milk, then she had to check out what the big present for her was..she said "wheels" as she looked under the wrapping paper and then ripped into it...A new 4 wheeler and this one goes 5mph..hehehe Then one by one she got them all opened and woohoo she was pretty excited about all of them! I think her favorites though were: the doctors kit and this strange looking play snake! After presents she wanted to get dressed a ride her quad a little so out she went for a whole 10min! hahaha

Next was Christmas morning breakfast! This tradition started in 2007, after our first Christmas with a child and the chaos of the day we thought hey we'll do breakfast and the family can come over for gifts...best idea EVER! HEHEHE
Jason and I cooked B&G,bacon,sausage,scrambled eggs,cinnamon rolls and orange juice! This was my first time making sausage gravy and then making for 10 people and I'll be darn it was FANTASTIC During cooking Kaylee got to open presents from Ceca and all the grandparents! After all that fun Kaylee took a nap for a couple hours, she was a tired gal!

Then came Nana & Pawpaw's dinner...yummm Its great getting together with everyone and just chatting and laughing!
And last but not least we headed over to Grandpa Spurrier's. This year was really neat because Kegan was able to come for the first time! So grandpa and great grandpa got the presence of the granddaughter duo on Christmas! How fun that was and it was really awesome to spend it with everyone! Kaylee and Kegan totally LOVE each other and had a blast running through the house.

Tonight we made our cookies...yummy! And rice crispy treats!
I planned on making different shape cookies but the dough didn't want to cooperate with me so we axed that idea and just decorated round cookies! hehehe However I did manage to make my own icing this year, it was good and its actually for cookies so it dried and didn't come off to the touch...wooohooo!

Last trip to Santa!

Here's our last trip to Santa's! Kaylee was a little more hesitate this time so I had to go with her at first but it only took a few seconds for that smile to pop up and her be fine!

During our 45min wait outside in the cold, Jason and her stayed warm by having a snowball fight and running around the court house...she had a blast!
Still had to believe its been 4yrs since our first visit with Santa....Kaylee was 2months old and tiny.....funny thing this year it was the same Santa as 2006.

Saturday and Sunday we went sledding! Saturday start off with Kaylee just wanting to go do with one of us which was a blast! That first big ol smile on her face was awesome, she loved it! We slowly worked her up to go down a small hill by herself, she was a little scared but by the end was smiling. She still wanted us to go with her though! hehehe So after about an hour we moved hills and found this ramp snow covered. Once Kaylee saw it she said I can do that all by myself and she did OVER and OVER! It just warmed my heart to see her so proud of herself and confident for doing all by herself! She would yell woohoo going down, laugh and smile so huge!

Sunday we went back again and Jolie came with us! Kaylee went right to her spot and off she went. Sledding is pretty darn fun and it just feels so good to laugh so hard. We all had so much fun and both days sled for about 2hrs! I'm sure we'll be going a lot more!

We can't forget our love for our pets! So I thought I'd show a picture of each one!

Max our first pup we got right before christmas in 2001! We love our little old man. He has his grumpy times ya know since he is the senior but he's a great dog with lots of pup in him 9yrs later! He has a hug obsession with balls and if he can't find a ball he'll grap about anything for us to throw!

Emit the second furbaby came to us in 2003! We are pretty sure he will NEVER act like a senior pup...he will be energetic puppy forever! hahaha He has always been rotten and beyond lovey, he thrives for attention and will do about anything to get it! He thinks he is a 10lb lap dog but really he's 90lb! hahaha

Emma was last years christmas gift for Kaylee. We never thought we'd have a cat, in fact we really weren't people.....then Kaylee fell in love with kittens and came Emma! I LOVE this cat and we love snuggleing! She is quite the funny lil thing, she plays will everything, her and Emit are buddies and love playing together! She even spreads out like the dogs, I think sometimes she thinks she's a canine! hahaha

These animals are such a big part of our family and we love them so dearly!

Lastnight was Kaylee's preschool christmas program and boy was it cute and precious! We have been looking forward to this all year! We didn't think she would make it due to being sick but she did! She wasn't a hundred percent but she did good for not feeling the best!

She was a little lamb this year and wow was it cute! All the kids looked beyond cute and ALLL did so well. Kaylee said she was too shy to sing in front of everyone but would sing at home for us! hahaha Its super cute to hear her sing her music, she's been practicing for a while now! Sadly we could see her real well so I didn't get alot of pictures but its ok I just love these little programs! I look foward to many more!

Sick little princess

Wednesday just before bedtime it hit her..the flu....our poor baby girl! She was getting ready to potty and just said "mommy I gotta pukey" and here it came! Its just awful to see her get sick and feel so bad! So she made it through the night pukey free and got a goods night sleep! We were so relieved we thought whew just an upset tummy! She had her milk did good with it and hour passed and I gave her her medicine for her cough and some lemonade....well that did it! Shortly after she started puking again! :( I was so sad for one she was sick and two thursday was preschool and practice for her cute lil program that was that TONIGHT!
So after a couple hours she said she felt a little better and even ate a bit. She was ok with going to school as long as mommy went with her so off we went! However we only made it at school about an hour before she just wasn't feeling good and was so emotional. We left went to Marsh for some sprite and push pops(her request)! Poor gal puked in Marsh and all over herself! I felt so bad for her, she even told me sorry for puking...I promised her it was not her fault and mommy was sorry she felt so icky! So off to home we went! Daddy came home early to be with her and help while I took care of Devyn and Caleb! She napped 4hrs and a little better and even was able to keep down crackers and sprite! She said she was ok so we went ahead and went to her christmas program at school. After her program however when we got home the poor baby got sick again, thankfully though after a bathe and a good nights sleep she was better. So I guess it was the 24hr flu....we are just so glad it didn't last long and she is better now! She is such a trooper when she is sick and honestly takes it so much better than us adults would! :)

Kaylee is really into Santa this year, its so cute! She saw Santa's house a few weeks ago uptown and just couldn't wait to see him! Then at the mall a week or so later she saw Santa and O goodness the smile and sparkle in her was amazing! She just yelled Hi Santa, Hi over and over! So a today she got to see on Santa's lap finally! She ran up to him, gave him a HUGE hug, blobbed down on lap with a HUGE smile and said "I'd like a doctor kit" then smile for a perfect picture!

On the first day of December my princess wakes up and says "MOMMY LOOK SNOW" hehehe

She was so excited and couldn't wait to get out and play in it! It was so cold but she still played and had a blast! She came in warmed up and headed back out a few times! We still need to find her some waterproof gloves so her little hands stay warm and dry and are in need of snow boots. We were not expecting snow this early and weren't prepared!

Another wonderful year of thanks! Happy Thanksgiving to my Family and Friends!
I'm thankful for so much this day and everyday! Life,love,our wonderful daughter,my husband,my parents,brother,mother/father/sister inlaw,my nieces,my awesome pets and alllll my family and friends! Loving life and the journey!
Today we are having our 2nd Thanksgiving dinner here, I'm so excited for this tradition! Around 16 of my loved ones will be here and some yummy food! We will than head off to Jasons family's house for more wonderful food and I'm sure good laughs!
Kaylee has started the morning already 7:30a...runnying around, singing and dancing! The girl can get up and go in seconds, she needs no wake up time....hahahaha!

I was just thinking the other day...Kaylee is really good with scissors, cuts only paper ya know! Well that all changed just when I thought we were in the clear!
Kaylee thought she needed a hair cut as well as Emma the kitten! And Devyn had to get in on it as well! Seriously I left them downs stairs for like 2 minutes with scissors and paper(never did I think what I'd come back down to)....I come back to see blond and black hair! Kaylee had cut a pretty good chuck from the front, thankfully it was sort underneath and blends well, not real noticeable. Devyn barely cut hers, just a little.
First I thought O crap they both cut a lot of their hair.....then as I was cleaning it up I noticed it was the cats fur as well! Kaylee had cut some of poor Emma tail fur off.....thank heavens she did actually CUT Emma! Our poor kitty!

So needless to say they lost the privilage of paper cutting for a bit.
I'm just so glad my pretty little blond haired girl still has lots of hair left!

We started a bathroom remodel this past weekend and of course we needed help! Soooooo here is Kaylee our little helper! She told us it was her job to help, so we got her gloves and put her to work! hahaha

I love the morning like this!
Kaylee climbs in bed with me, snuggles up and falls back asleep! She's a bit of a early bird some morning so she hops in bed with me on the really early mornings. She loves to put her hand on my hand and for me to rub her little back. She has this thing that she loves to rub my finger nails..she likes the smoothness of them!
So we snuggled, she fell back asleep and mommy snuck out to have some coffee and watch the news before little energy wakes again! Here is the sweetness most innocent picture and face in the world!

Happy Halloween!

Tonight was so much fun! Kaylee was so into trick or treating this year and it was so wonderful to see that beautiful lil face light up! First we went around our neighborhood or some of it. There are so many houses around us so we hit about 20 I think, Kaylee got a bucket full and we even had to put some in our pockets to help her out! Afterwards we headed to Papaw's and then Nana/Papaw's! By nights end Kaylee had two buckets FULL of candy! She thought she was going to eat it all and she tried to be sneaky but we caught on! hahaha It was a great night and Kaylee was the cutest little witch around!

Now we welcome November and turkey time!

Zooboo year three was fun! We dressed Kaylee up this year for some fun animal and trick or treating fun! This year we went with Missy,Chip,Harley,Cody,Matt and Heather. Kaylee was a pretty witch, Cody a cowboy and Harley a fairy! Kaylee ate every bit of candy before we left, she'd rather eat her candy than run around..hahaha
Tomorrow will be a fun evening of trick or treating and LOTS of candy!

Pumpkin Relay.....FUN

Yesterday was Pumpkin Relay at preschool and I got to spend the whole day with Kaylee! What a fun filled day it was! At first Kaylee stuck to me like glue but finally she broke away and did what she does without me around....play with her friends! I love to see her interact with her friends/teacher at school and Ms Megan/Jodi are wonderful!
So the day got off to a stormy start! A line of storms rolled through but that didn't stop our fun! We had prayer, school pictures(how funny that was with so many kids ages 1-K) then we were off! First Kaylee's class made there treat bags and played dress up, then played in goooo, decorated pumpkins, had some lunch(daddy got to come for lunch and the relay) then pumpkin relay, last some sweet trick or treating! The day ended with all the kids getting lil medals for being so awesome and having fun!
It was such a fun day and I"m so blessed to be able to participate in Kaylee's school. Its also really nice to talk with the teachers and other parents!

My O My its the Headless Horseman

Couple weeks ago(the 16th) we headed to the Conner Prairie for our third year of the Headless Horseman! This year Missy, Chip and the kids went with us and it was a blast! Kaylee was a little more scared this year but I think it was because we were trying to scare the other kids, she still did great and had fun though! She loved having Harley and Cody to play and hang out with. We did a couple crafts, ate all the yummy's..carmel apples and cotton candy, of course saw the barn animals and then did the hayride. It was totally dark but still pretty fun!
This past weekend we went again since we bought a membership! Kaylee and Austin had fun even though Kaylee honestly wasn't fond of the hayride and the headless horseman but after the ride was over I think she was less scared as we showed and explained to her it was just pretend! Another fun fall weekend! Halloween Night is just around the corner...woohooo!

Today was a wonderful fun filled day! All the family came to celebrate 4 years of Kaylee! Kaylee loved that Austin,Kegan,Daniel,Cody and Harley all came to play! Its so nice having family over and celebrating such a special time. Mamaw, Papaw, Nana/Papaw,Grandma/Pa Hunley, Lisa/Jolie, Melanie, Christina/Dawn and Missy/Chip all came to have cake/ice cream with us! Everyone gave Kaylee such wonderful gifts all of which she LOVES!

FOUR Wow O Wow Kaylee is 4

Today our sweet little girl is FOUR! Wow amazing we have a four year old! Its so hard to believe these years have went so fast but yet a little slow at times! Its a little bittersweet to look back at those precious cute baby and early toddler years but also such an amazing site to see the young little preschooler she is now! These fours years have been the best of our lives, interesting, challenging, a learning experience but mostly just SPECTACULAR! Being parents has been the most enjoyable experience we'll ever experience.

KAYLEE:
You are a beauty! So smart that we can't even keep up, so sassy we don't know what to say back half the time! haha Your tall at 43in, slim at 32lbs! Still have big beautiful blue eyes with those awesome long eyelashes....blondish brown hair that's so pretty! Your Energetic, spunkie, have such a cute giggle and precious voice. We never knew how such a little person could make us feel so much emotion! I'll be in tears at how much I love you and then the next minute I'm in tears from you being so rotten! haha!
We are so blessed and lucky to have you Kaylee Lynn as our little girl. As much as I want you to stay little, I look forward to watching you grow and see what you have in store for mommy and daddy next!

HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY SWEET GIRL

Today we had a cupcake birthday party for Kaylee! Lilly, Asher, Devyn and Caleb joined Kaylee in icing and decorating some cupcakes...and it was fun! Kaylee loved to just ice, decorate and then eat the icing off hers, Lilly did the same but ate a little of hers, Devyn did it all and LOVED the cupcake too, Asher too the prize for the most sprinkles ever on a cupcake...it was so funny! Caleb was the lil guy and just played with some toys! It was a fun time! Devyn and Caleb got Kaylee a super neat Kitty and carrying case and Lilly and Asher got a very sweet book call "God Made Me" and a couple others! We were needing some updated books! :)
Sadly it ended with Kaylee running a fever, I was so sad for my baby! Thankfully as of tonight her fever is breaking already and she is feeling a little better! Hugs to our sweetie!

Up Up we go... Birthday Balloon Voyage

For a early birthday gift we finally took Kaylee up in the Balloon Voyage at Conner Prairie this weekend! She has wanted to go up in a balloon and particlly at Conner Prairie for a while!
Yesterday was a beautiful sunny day for it, a little cool at first but great! A little breezy at first so we had to wait a couple hours to go up in the balloon.
Kaylee loves Conner Prairie, it has lots of room to run, farm animals, a big hill to run up and down or roll and a neat playground! So we started off heading to the barn to see the animals! We got to see the cow get milked(not old fashion style), she got to hold a baby chick and pet all the animals! There was even a big ole hog that was so ugly is was sort of cute! hehehe
We continued through checking out the hotel where it only cost 12 1/2 cents for the night...we learned how money was split back then which was very interesting! Then we went to the blacksmith to learn how different items where made, then the wood shop and even had a seat in a outhouse. Finally the winds calmed and the balloon launched and off we were to get out tickets! It was a pretty neat view at around 350ft up. Not a very long lift up about 10-15min but Kaylee LOVED it and that's what it was all about! :)
After the balloon we headed to the play ground where Kaylee thought the tire swing was the best thing ever. I haven't a clue how the girl did not puke as much as daddy swung her around and around but she'd stop and want more! That ended our day at the Prairie....and it was fun!

So Kaylee vocab is unreal now! At almost 4 the girl can say and remember everything. Lately she has been even more sassy than normal! hahaha Here are a few comments coming from our little darling!

"Mommy daddy doesn't respect I'm washing his car" she was squirting it with the water gun

"its not my responsibilty" I ask kaylee to please sit in her carseat and buckle herself in and not worry about the two I nanny for and thats the response I got!

"stay out of my business" not sure where this came from but she said it to daddy the other day during lunch. Guess he was in her business! hahaha

"it doesn't make since or that doesn't make since" she will say this just to say it! Or we'll be talking or her and Devyn will be chatting and she'll say well that doesn't make since! haha

Beautiful Day at Brown County

We had a wonderful relaxing day at Brown County and Kaylee had a blast.
We planned on taking a horse back ride but little Kaylee was too young right now to ride a big horse...dang it! But they did have pony rides and she pretty much still rode on her own, we just guided the pony! She loved of course......she LOVES horses!
It was nice to just casually walk around, look for things and play around!

Dish Washing

Past couple night Kaylee has found it pretty neat to help Daddy and I with dishes! She does a really good job washing, just needs some help keeping the water IN the sink!!!! hehe
Now our hopes are she won't mind continuing this fun into grade school and the teen years....of course for a little allowance then though!! hahaha Really though she is now taking interest in helping us do things and it pretty cute! She loves getting little cart at Kogers and pushing her own groceries,likes water flowers,helping put away laundry and so on! We love watching her and I love learning how to slow down a bit and learning that everything doesn't have to be just perfect in mommy world! :) Kaylee's way sure is cute and pretty neat most of the time!

1st Day of Preschool!!

Today was Kaylee's first day of the 2010-2011 school year!

This is her 3rd year at First Christian Church..teaching our preschoolers. She is in the threes class again this year, this way she will graduate next years PreK class with the friends she will be in Kindergarden with!
She did really great today but did cry a bit when daddy and I left her class! When we first got to school she went to class and teachers from last year and was very sad to find out it wasn't her class this year! Poor girl! She is in the upstairs classes this year in the Oceans class! Its super cute this year cause all the classes have themes!
We are so excited and happy to watch Kaylee grow in the 2010/2011 school year!

It was the last day of the 2009/2010 school year.
This was Kaylee's first year in the 3's class and she did great! She was a little young for the class but the director went ahead and let her go since she was going to the big girl potty! It was a cute and fun day, I can't believe the school year is year is over already! The class sang some songs but Kaylee decided to be totally shy and not sing but cry! Little stinker maybe next school year she'll be ready to sing in front of peopel! :) But we are ready to welcome Summer Time...woohoo!

Lastnight was the end of the year celebration/carnival at preschool! It was a lot of fun and the school did an awesome job. I love the preschool we chose for Kaylee, she has learned so much, they have some of the neatest events and such wonderful teachers.
Kaylee and Devyn of course found each other and played pretty much the entire time together, its so funny to watch them! Of course Kaylee hung out with a couple friends from her class as well but mostly just her bestie Devyn! :) There was a good DJ playing music, a little food, cotton candy, LOTS of games for the kiddos, a raffle for some neat gifts and of course a few bounce houses for the kids! We had a really good time

WOW, I just can't believe its been over 6 months already since we had Kaylee's 3rd birthday! Our baby is just growing to fast and the days, weeks and months are passing by quicker than ever! We really need a pause button! :)

Kaylee sure keeps us busy and challeged! Shes very energetic,smart and sweet! She has her rotten times...ok a lot of them lately but hey she keeps our lives very interesting and full....all we wanted! She has one lil mouth on her and we are trying our best to catch her before we find ourselves not in control anymore, hahaha! She is quiet the 3yr old! Very bossing,loves to talk back and must have the last word. She argues with me as if she is an adult and we can't figure out how in the world to stop it! She takes in everything she hears and sees, its amazing what she can remember! Half the time she is our memory, hahaha we'll ask her at the store if we've forgot something!

She loves to play outside, ride her tricycle, climb trees and get dirty! She loves music and favors country......its so cute to hear her sing from the radio. We've recently moved to a new house and she LOVES it! She is able to play out back or front with lil worry about her getting hit by a car now! We have a huge front yard and driveway(she can now ride her toys anytime) for her. She is doing wonderful in preschool and loves it! Her teachers enjoy her and says she is very good in school....what happens when she gets home than! hahaha

As for what all she knows now...its endless! We can't even keep up with all the know phases, words or just plain knowledge the girl has these days! Each day still brings something new and its great. I just can't imagine any greater joy than experiancing a childs everyday.....its simply AMAZING and so is our daughter!

Among many of the things Kaylee says and does I think our favorite words still are.....I love you mommy/daddy....your my bestfriends...I love being with you!

And to our Baby Girl:
all though you are one rotten lil sweetie..mommy and daddy love you beyond words! You are truly the best gift in the world to us! love you sweet pea!

Energizer Kaylee

Tonight was a very interesting night and of course Kaylee was involved! hahaha
Kaylee swollowed a round battery out of one of the animal toys! Here's how it went;
We'd had a LONG day packing and moving today! Kaylee and I were in the kitchen chatting, I saw something shiney fall on the floor and her pick it up! I did not see her put it in her mouth though! So we are talking, I turn around for like a split second, then I see her sort of struggle to swallow, followed by a scared cry. I pick her up right away ask her if she is ok, set her on the counter and ask her what happened, what did she swallow? She just cried so I had to calm her down, finally she told me "a penny mommy a penny" I ask her again and again....I knew whatever it was went down to easy to be a penny. I had no idea honestly what else it could've been though, I yelled to Jason. Said what happened and he talked to her, as they were talking I found something on the floor......a part to a toy for the kitty that had 2 lil batteries in it ONE was missing. So off to the hospital we went! They were very quick at getting her back, seen and x-rayed...within a 1/2. Kaylee was not going to lay down for the belly x-ray, I tried everything by myself but the tech had to go get Daddy to help! We had to have this x-ray to make sure it was a battery but most importantly where is was located....that made all the difference in how to handle it! And let me tell ya a 3yr old lil girl is VERY strong and gave us a challege! We got it done though, she got several stickers, was not tramatized and witin minutes we got to see the x-ray! THANK GOD it was in her tummy and after talking with the pedi GI doc it was determined we could just wait for it to pass! So we get to sift through poo for a few days....O so much fun! lol They even gave us a copy of the xray, its very clear where it is!

UPDATE: Kaylee energizer days are over....Mon she passed it! Of course she had to go poo in the gas station, we will never be forgotten at the place! hahaha

A New Start

After 8yr we are moving to a new house....our FOREVER home! I have a range of emotions, from sooooo excited to a little sadness.
Our first house has so many memories and lots of learning in it! hahaha Its where I carried our first babies.... precious Tyler and Erin and where we mourned their loss, where we brought our princess Kaylee home to, decorated our first nursery, its where we experienced PARENTHOOD for the first time! We've grown so much as a couple here as well as individuals. We have wonderful a neighbor that will be missed so much! So many first at this cute little house. I'm nervous about how our pups/kitten will adjust this is the only home they've ever known. I know Kaylee will be fine she loves the new house as do we! We learned a lot in this house about how no small remodel is really a "small" remodel! hahaha Its been a pain sometimes but I've loved this house. In about a week we will be moving out and saying goodbye to our FIRST home together but its time to start new.....and its going to be exciting

I will miss it but our new home is WONDERFUL! It has so much character,so much wonderful potential, more room, a HUGE yard and is in the neighborhood we've been wanting to live in for sometime! Its quiet, close to the park,schools,walking and biking trails and just around the corner from Lisa and Jolie! We've bought this house knowing its where we will raise Kaylee and hopefully another lil one! This will be home forever. It may not be new nor super duper fancy but its US...it fits who we are and our likes. It took some time to close the deal but I know it was worth it.

This past summer I bought a cute dresser off craigslist and since then I have been dieing to get the twin bed that matched it.....and finally we did! Thanks to an awesome friend we got a really good deal at Ashley furniture for it also! Its so cute and Kaylee really loves it...she will be in this bed for a very long time! LOL

1st Family Snowman

Finally, Kaylee's third winter and we made a snowman! She is so into making snowKaylee's(haha) playing in the snow and wanting to make the snowman! And what a huge help she was! She rolled it, carried the ball to daddy and derik and then put his eyes,nose,buttons,scarf and arms on! I must say it was one of the best snowmen I've seen or built! Super cute!

We've had lots of snow but its been so cold that we really haven't gotten to enjoy it! However super Kaylee still wanted to go out so of course we had to go! Jason took her sledding down the street and pulled her around the neighborhood...She loved it! That big smile on her face is just the most amazing face ever!

And this is Emma the new addition to our family!

It has been a wonderful Christmas morning! Started our a bit rough but got much better! And our kitten surprise didn't go as planned but Kaylee LOVED her and all of her presents she received!

Kaylee woke about 11:30p christmas eve and said her belly hurt. I didn't really think much of it but knew she never says that in the middle of the night..however I tucked her back in gave her a big kiss and went back to bed! Just a bit later she came back in our room with a tummy ache again! I picked her up talked to her and tried to comfort her...within minutes she was throwing up! :( We sit up with her for a bit, Daddy rocked her, took her temp and all seemed well! No temp, she said her felt ok and we got her back to bed around 12:30! Of course in the middle of all this we are cleaning up icky,comforting her and trying to salvage christmas morning surprises! So she got back in bed with a lil water.....then about hour or less later she was up again puking.....its awful to see your lil girl do this! So we got all cleaned up, rocked and comforted the poor baby and she said she was tired! So off to bed we all went again...this time I didn't give her water though! Thankfully we made it rest of the morning with no more pukey but little sleep! However Kaylee woke about 7:30 a ray of sunshine feeling great! Thank you god!

So our plan was to get up before Kaylee,get lil kitty and put her in bed with Kaylee christmas morning however nothing reals goes as plan RIGHT! LOL Here's how it went.....
So 7am Jason and I woke up! He said you think we should get the kitten and wake Kaylee....I said not yet since she had slept well! So I changed my mind and we got up before I'd even gotten ready here came lil miss Kaylee out of her room! LOL So we got her back in there, Jason rushed to get the presents under the tree again and then had a great idea of wrapping the kitten real fast! So in the carrier she went and wrapped up and under the tree before Kaylee made it it in the living room! hahaha Daddy's good! It was the first present she opened and said I bet this is my kitty kitty! Fast start to the morning but it was wonderful!

Papa/Sheila,Mamaw/Papa,Nana/Papa,Uncle Joey,Aunt Lisa/Jolie and our awesome neighbor Derick(aka D)all came over for Christmas Breakfast! My wonderful mom cooked pretty much everything and made some kick butt sausage gravy! We followed that with a nap, then dinner at Grandpa Spurrier's and then to Nana/Papa for dinner as well! Kaylee received some wonderful gifts but most of all OUR family's had the perfect day and thats what its really about!

We had the most wonderful Christmas! We are so BLESSED!

Santa 2009

Kaylee went to talk with Santa a couple weeks ago to let him know her wish this year! She was so pumped up but once we got into Santa's house she was a bit scared and refused to sit on his lap! He was a very nice Santa and talked with her until she felt comfortable standing next to him, she let him know her wish and told him merry christmas! She ask Santa for a kitty cat and I think thomas the train stuff.......but really ALLLLL she wants is a kitten! And of course mommy,daddy and santa will be arranging that!
After she talked with the VERY sweet Santa we walked around the square and took some pics of Kaylee. Its been several years but finally Noblesville has really decorated this year and it looks beautiful, just as a remember it when I was a kid!

I just LOVE this time of year......and its SO VERY SPECIAL having our sweet girl Kaylee. Children just make the holiday!

Thanksgiving 2009

WOW we all had a wonderful thanksgiving with family and friends!
Started off at our house with an awesome dinner. It was a year with new family coming back into our lives and sadly grandma going to heaven in May. We had the three of us, mamaw/papaw Paro,grandpa,great grandpa/kathy and uncle joejoe. For the first year in many my moms sister, my aunt Lisa, Kevin, Courtney and Megan have joined our family. We are so happy to have her back in the family, Kevin and the girls are so nice. And for the first year as well Derrik(aka "D" and Brandon our awesome neighbors join us in celebrating the day.
We all laughed, ate and just enjoyed the day! The food was wonderful and everyone pitched in so much! My mom and I prepped Wed and did some cleaning up and thanksgiving day the cooking started at 7am........the TURKEY! Thank god it was good because some how and at some point in time the oven got cranked up to 500 degrees when it should have been cooking at 350....hahaha But a couple hours later a 20lb turkey was gone, with no left overs really!
Kaylee and Mamaw did the mashed taters together which was too cute! I loved and enjoyed so much the time my mom and I spend Wed and Thurs preparing for the dinner....it really was a dream come true for me......I LOVE my MOM
The menu for the day was:
turkey,mashed taters,bakedbeans,mac&cheese,stuffing,coleslaw,cranberry sauce,rolls and pumpkin pie!

Our thanksgiving continued at Jason's uncle Dave's house! We love getting together and chatting with the family! Dave and Lisa always have wonderful food hehehehe! Kaylee took a little time to warm up the the family, we don't see them as much as we should! However once she warmed up she had a blast! Lisa got the play animals out and played with Kaylee.......it was so sweet! She loved playing monster with Dave and just running around! She fell in love with Aubrey, she showed Kaylee a picture of her kitten Bella.....the way into Kaylee heart! LOL What a wonderful evening!
We didn't leave until around 10ish and were just pooped!

This was such a nice relaxing Thanksgiving! We are all so blessed!

So today I got pulled over...blah!
The police officer ask me for my stuff as they do and Kaylee said 3x's hi hi hi policeman.......he said nothing back to her! Ticked me off. As we continued our drive to preschool she said
"mommy why not he answer me" and told daddy when he got home "he not want to talk to me, I not know why"

Then on the way home from the mall tonight I mentioned starting a tradition of cutting a fresh christmas every year. This was Kaylee's response
"no we can't cut a tree down, then the squirrels won't have a place to live" so we said ok sweetie we won't cut one down, we'll leave them all. She said ok and added "that we can't cause the squirrels AND the birds won't have a place to live"!

Tonight we were all laying in our bed snuggling and Kaylee rolled over put her arms around my neck and said
"I wove you mommy.....your the best" "your the best too daddy"
My heart melted and tears welted up......I love this little girl more than live its self. She and her daddy just make me whole!

Isn't she just the sweetest! She is already a animal and nature lover..we've done well!

Horse, kitten and 4-wheeling

Sat night Jason and I decided to venture out and try out 4 wheeling with some family and friends finally! Holy Moly did we have a BLAST! We are so lucky to have family that let us borrow their quad since we don't have one. It was pretty darn fun riding in the woods at night and quite the break in for newbies! lol We had so much fun we went back Sun morning. We had a blast again, I love it!
Kaylee rode with me and a friend a couple times but would rather sit with Mamaw and bellybutton the kitten! The girl LOVES kitten and cats.......ugh we so don't want one but I have this feeling we'll end up with one! lol She also got to ride a horse and loved that as well. My cousins house is like a dream......country living,horses,acres of woods,4wheelers and much more! We had so much fun and I hope to do it all again soon! Its a great place for Kaylee, she can run, get dirty and just be a kid...prefect!

Sat was Kaylee first Sat trying soccer, she was the only girl! hehehe I've been looking forever for t-ball or soccer for her and finally found a place for her age! MiniKicks is pretty cute and runs for 10wks, every Sat at 9am.............and its indoors! hehehe Its not game playing but just a fun way for young kids to learn the game, have fun and interact with the other kids.
It was pretty cute watching all the 2-3 yr olds out there. Kaylee did pretty well for being a shy lil one! She loves kicking the ball and making goals. She has quite the leg on her and I think she will do very well if its what she wants to do! We are hoping she'll get a little less shy and run around with everyone without us being right there with her! lol Keep on checking for Soccer updates!

Halloween 2009

Kaylee had just a blast trick or treating lastnight. Last year was fun but this year she " was really into it and very willing to run house to house. She was so cute and polite! Trick or treat and thank she'd say! Kaylee was a lil cute witch this year and her cousin austin came with us and he was "killer" or sort of a couple things in one! LOL Kaylee and Austin LOVE each other and have a blast together! We first started off around our house and went a couple blocks, then to papaw Spurriers house, then up town where they had a block blocked off with the fire truck and some tables to trick or treat at........then to Aunt Lisa's! 2 1/2 hrs later we wrapped it up and headed back to Lisa's where there was a fire, a little food and just hanging out with the neighbors! We headed home a bit early, Kaylee was very sleepy since she didn't really nap(poor girl has a nasty cough) We had just a fun evening and most of all Kaylee very much enjoyed herself...........and thats what its ALL about!

My mushy moment:
I can't tell everyone how wonderful it is to see OUR little girl dressed up and treat or treating finally! We've waited all our lives to have child and we have the most precious, perfect, wonderful in the world.........OUR KAYLEE! It just warmed my heart and soul to watch her as does EVERYDAY with her! WE LOVE YOU KAYLEE!

October festivities!

I love October, not only because it was the month we were blessed with Kaylee but all the fun in the month! We've had Kaylee 3rd birthday, a halloween party, pumpkin patch,ZOOBOO at the zoo and the headless horseman at Conner Prarie! We have just had so much fun and I can't wait for halloween for tricker treating!

Headless Horseman:
We went the Conner Prairie Sunday for the headless horseman! This is also the second year we've taken Kaylee but this year we did it in the dark instead.! She is such a trooper and doesn't scare easily! mamaw and papaw paro went with us and I think they got more scared than Kaylee! haha Especially my mom! We had a pretty good time. She stayed very close to her daddy and squeezed him alot(which he LOVED). She didn't really like the people coming out of the woods at us but loved the hayride. Once the spooking headless horseman met us all she had to say was " wook at the horsey.......aww its cute" then she said "bye horsey" and "there was a ghost riding the horsey" she is so cute!
It was late after that so we headed home! It was fun though and I loved having my mom and stepdad with us!

Daddy carved our pumpkin since Kaylee didn't want to touch the goowy stuff this year.....she says! Little stinker has loved doing this every year but now! Could have been she just woke up from her nap...hehehe! Jason did a great job and Kaylee loved painting her lil pumpkin. She loved to paint and color these days so its ALLLLL she wants to do!

Just a minute ago we were all three laying in bed together and Kaylee snuggled up and said
"I'm so happy I'm with my Family"! My gosh how sweet are those words!

A few other things she has said recently:

If she is gone for just an hour she'll come home and say
"I'm so happy I'm home"

I ask her not to do something -
"Mommy its my choice" hahahaha to funny!

If you want a kitty which one of the dogs are going?(and we would NEVER get rid of one of our dogs...not till they go to heaven)She thinks really hard for about 5mins and says
"I want both my dogs and a kitty" hahaha she is good!

She was dancing the other morning and said
"I still got it" hahaha! So funny!

I want or can I have and then inserts "Right Now" if we say no!

Oct 14th we went to the 4h fair grounds for there annual halloween party and it was fun! Kaylee had a lot of fun and even ventured to the haunted house! She got to play a few games, color a pumpkin or two, dress up, do a straw maze and have LOTS of fun!

All the decor was really cute and getting to see the lions very active was really cool! We got to hear them huffing and puffing because they were agitated with the later hours of the zoo! We got to see up right up close next to the fence and they are just huge but beautiful amazing animals! Kaylee got to do a little trick or treating and just run around! I'm really wanting to go back and see the asian garden, I betting is pretty!

Today you are 3 and what a wonderful 3yrs it has been! Wow we've been parents for three years already, it feels like you were just born yesterday. Its went way to fast for us and we wish we could slow the years down and keep you little! :)
You've made mommy and daddy's life so wonderful, complete and happy! You've brought a whole other meaning to the word "LOVE". Our hearts are overwhelmed with love for you. You amaze us each and everyday......we are so blessed to be your mommy and daddy.

A day at a Farm

A few weeks ago we went to the Alanta Earth Festival and then to our cousin Missy's house! Wow was it fun! Missy has a horse and a few goats....and Kaylee got to feed them all and ride the horse! Riding a horse is definitly one of Kaylee's favorite's.......she loves them! After that Missy let Kaylee drive the cart in the country....another thing Kaylee loved! It was so funny seeing Kaylee steer!

Kaylee's first day of preschool was Sept 1st. This is her first full year in school, last year she only went the last half of the year! She was in the ones class last year, this year they allowed her to skip the twos and go to the three's class! We were really hoping they would so she would be with kids more her age since she will be three in Oct(the cut off was Aug). It was no problem especially since she is going to the potty. She goes to same as last year Tue/Thur from 9:30/1:30.

Her first day went really well, we are so proud of her. She teared up a little and the teacher said she said she missed me a couple times but did wonderful. She had no accidents and told the teachers each time she needed to potty, such a big girl! I hung around for about a half hour and watched her(of course I had to hide so she wouldn't see me) I really thought she would have a hard time cause she woves her mommy(hehehe)but proved me wrong! woohoo! She made us a craft and colored, played outside and ate all her lunch. I wasn't sure she would with it being the first day eating at school! I know this year will be wonderful for her and I think she'll make some nice friends!

Gosh I don't know where to begin! I need to get back to blogging more and off of facebook! hahahaha

Kaylee will be three in about a month, it feels just like yesterday she was a baby, I feel like I'm still a new mommy and sometimes I look at my daughter and still think WOW thats my little girl...I'm her mommy forever.......Jason and I are parents finally! I always knew time would go by so quickly but until it happens you just don't realize just how fast 3yrs came fly by! I look back at her baby and one year pics and cry. Cry for joy and cry of a bit of saddness. Saddness because we will never have this time back but Joy in seeing what a wonderful little girl she has become. She has taught jason and I so much and made us better people and our love stronger!

Kaylee is such a joy, her smile just amaze's me and melts our hearts. She is so very smart and sometimes I"m not so sure thats a good thing! LOL She is very sassy and getting more so with each day. The things she says to us and mouths off to us just takes us by surprise. Here is just a bit of it:

Me: Kaylee if you don't go potty we're not going to the mall to play
Kaylee: "says nothing" ignores me
Me: I repeat myself about 4 times about going potty.........kaylee's sassy response behind my back to my mom..........
Kaylee: I'll just pee in my pants!

Me: Kaylee if you don't stop your coming inside
Kaylee: (after argueing with me) I DON'T CARE.....I DON'T CARE mommy!

As amazing as she is, boy can she push about every last button we have! She will scream at us, get mad and throw something and even once or twice pee'd in her pants just to get back at us............good god she isn't 3 yet! She is really a fireball but wow does it make her personalitly shine. She takes in everything she see's and hears, she is very observant, she picks up quickly to something "she" wants to learn and will only do something on her terms! hahahaha She is such a girl with an additude, she likes playing in the dirt but like to be girly too! I think she is just like me when I was a kid! She is sweet,loving,rotten(he) and she is ALL OURS!
She can count to at least 15,I think she knows some ABC(again she only shares if she wants)she knows what town and state she lives in, has a vocabulary like you or I, there is so much more but I would be here forever typing it all out! She has completly taught herself to go to the potty and only wheres a diaper at night and even night she will stay dry sometimes!. Our trip to Florida in June/July was pretty much the end to diapers. It was so easy just letting her decide when she was ready and diapers where just ick, never again will I pressure or push for a child to potty train.
